Emergency heating, cooling and hot-water service across Simcoe County and Muskoka, every day of the year. A technician talks you through it on the phone and comes out if it can’t wait.
Don’t touch switches or use a phone inside. From outside, call 911. For a natural-gas emergency you can also call Enbridge at 1-866-763-5427. Call us once the house has been made safe.
What happens when you call
Common emergency calls
Furnace won’t start
No ignition, short cycling, blowing cold air or a thermostat that isn’t responding.
Boiler lockout or no hot water
Error codes, low pressure, a cold radiant floor or a combi that has stopped making hot water.
Heat pump not heating
Iced-up outdoor unit, system stuck in defrost, or backup heat running non-stop.
A/C down in a heat wave
Warm air, a frozen coil or a unit that won’t start — before it becomes a health issue.
Water heater leaking
A leaking tank or no hot water. Tank and tankless replacements are usually same or next day.
Empty cottage, winter
Heat loss in an unoccupied property. We can meet a property manager or neighbour on site.
Before you call
Check that the thermostat is set to heat and has power, that the furnace switch and breaker are on, and that the filter isn’t blocked. For a boiler or combi, note any error code on the display. If none of that helps, call — have your address and the equipment type ready and we’ll take it from there.
A Type A tag means the gas is already off; a Type B tag usually gives you 30 days. Call us: we’ll explain the tag, quote a replacement the same visit, and most furnaces are swapped within the week. What a red tag means →
Keep the number. Hopefully you never need it.
