Central air conditioning, installed properly.

Central A/C replacements and new installs for homes across Simcoe County and Muskoka — matched coils, proper charge, clean line sets and level pads.

Why the install matters

Most A/C problems we see come from the install, not the equipment: mismatched coils, undercharged systems, line sets kinked behind the wall. We size the unit to the house and the ductwork, set it up by the book and commission it, so it runs quietly for fifteen years.

If your A/C is more than 12 years old or still on R-22 refrigerant, a replacement is usually cheaper than another season of repairs — and a heat pump may cost only a little more.

What we install

Central air conditioners

Single-stage, two-stage and variable-speed, matched to your furnace blower.

Matched evaporator coils

The right coil for the outdoor unit, not whatever is on the shelf.

Heat pumps instead

For a bit more, the same outdoor unit heats too. We’ll quote both.

Line sets & pads

New insulated line sets where the old ones can’t be flushed, on a level pad or bracket.

Condensate & drains

Proper drains and safety switches so it never floods the furnace.

Thermostats & humidity

Controls that actually manage humidity, not just temperature.

How we do it

Cooling load calculated — oversized A/C short-cycles and leaves the house clammy.
Duct airflow checked so the coil gets the air it needs.
Charged by weight and verified at start-up, documented.
Flat-rate price, warranty registered, maintenance plan offered.

Most homes (2–3 tons, 14.3 SEER2+)$4,500 – $8,500
Larger or variable-speed systems$8,500 – $12,000
Furnace and A/C together$10,000 – $15,000

For a few thousand more, a cold-climate heat pump cools the same way, also heats, and qualifies for up to $7,500 in rebates. Any rebate you qualify for is built into the written quote. See the full cost guide →

Questions we get asked

Can you replace my A/C the same week?

Usually yes around Orillia, Barrie and Midland. Repairs are often same day.

Why does the install matter so much?

Most A/C problems we see come from the install: mismatched coils, wrong charge, kinked line sets. We match the coil, weigh the charge and set it up by the book.

Should I get a heat pump instead of an air conditioner?

More than half of our cooling installs are now heat pumps. They cool identically, add heating, and qualify for Ontario rebates that a plain A/C does not.

What size do I need?

We size to the house and the ductwork, not square footage. An oversized unit short-cycles and leaves the house clammy.

Is there a warranty?

Manufacturer parts warranties apply, registered by us, and the installation is backed by our workmanship. Terms are written into the quote.

A/C quit, or just tired?

Same-day quotes and 24/7 service through the summer.
