Ductwork designed and built for the house, not bought off the shelf.

Duct design and fabrication for new builds, renovations and existing systems that never moved air properly, across Simcoe County and Muskoka.

New supply plenum and ductwork on a furnace installation

Why ductwork matters

Good equipment on bad ductwork is still a bad system. Undersized trunks, flex duct crushed in the joists and returns in the wrong rooms are why one bedroom is always cold and the furnace never stops. We design the duct system from the load calculation and build it to fit the house.

On custom builds we plan the chases and the mechanical room at the drawing stage so nothing is improvised on site. On existing homes we fix the runs that are actually causing the problem.

What we do

Duct design

Sized from the room-by-room load, with static pressure the blower can actually deliver.

Custom-fabricated trunks & fittings

Sheet-metal trunks, plenums and transitions built for the space, not forced to fit.

Return-air corrections

Returns where they belong, so every room actually circulates.

Zoning systems

Dampers and controls so upstairs and downstairs can be different temperatures.

Sealing & insulation

Mastic-sealed joints and insulated runs through unheated space.

Airflow balancing

Measured and balanced at commissioning, not eyeballed.

How we do it

Load calculation first, then duct sizing — never the other way around.
Drawings for new builds so framing and mechanical agree before the walls close.
Fabricated to fit, sealed and insulated to code.
Balanced and documented at the end of the job.

Fixing a bad system
The cold bedroom and the noisy furnace usually have the same cause.

One room always cold?

That is usually a duct problem. We’ll find it and fix it properly.
